Healing in Connection With Horses and Each Other
Hi, I’m Judy, the person behind Equine Insight.
I’ve been working with people and with horses for most of my life. For many years, I was a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, helping clients through traditional office-based therapy. But over time, I started to notice something: the most meaningful moments didn’t always happen in the office. They often happened outdoors, in stillness, or in the quiet company of a horse.
I didn’t plan to shift paths — I followed my own experience. I saw how horses helped me feel more like myself, and I saw how they helped others, too. That’s what inspired Equine Insight.
This work isn’t about performance or technique. It’s about real moments, honest reflection, and giving people a peaceful space to reconnect with themselves.

Equine Insight is here to offer a different kind of support: simple, honest, and grounded in presence.
We create a safe, natural space for people to slow down, take a breath, and connect — with themselves, with a horse, and with what’s going on inside.
There’s no pressure, no pretense, and no expectations.
Whether you’re going through a transition, feeling stuck, or just needing a reset, the horses meet you where you are. Together, we listen, observe, and let whatever needs to come up, come up.
Equine Insight grew slowly, out of a deep respect for the way horses seem to know what people need without saying a word.
I’ve always loved horses, and over the years, I started weaving them into my work. What began as occasional sessions with clients and horses became something more. The horses were showing up for people in powerful ways, and people were showing up for themselves.
I studied Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy, intuitive horsemanship, and took time to explore what worked and what didn’t. Eventually, it became clear that this wasn’t a side project. It was the work.
