Group Experiences
Healing in connection with horses and each other.
We’re currently curating a series of themed group experiences for individuals seeking support, inspiration, and shared growth.
Each group will be small, supportive, and rooted in mutual respect—for yourself, others, and the horses you’ll meet.
Learn Helpful Practices:
Connection & Communication
Explore how horses can help us become better listeners, speakers, and humans.
Inner Leadership
Step into your own sense of balance and purpose by observing how horses lead—and follow.
Mindfulness in Motion
Learn to slow down, move with intention, and restore your sense of calm.
Self-Care & Grounding
Take space for yourself, surrounded by nature, horses, and like-minded individuals.
Gather With Horses
Group Experiences at Equine Insight are gently guided sessions where a small group of people come together to spend time with horses in a quiet, natural setting. These aren’t riding lessons or workshops. They’re peaceful gatherings designed to support reflection, connection, and emotional awareness — both with yourself and in the presence of others.
Each experience is built around a meaningful theme, such as boundaries, intuition, communication, or presence. With a focus on observation, gentle interaction, and stillness, you’ll be invited to notice what arises within and around you — all without pressure or performance.
No prior experience with horses is needed. You’ll be guided throughout, with space to share if you’d like, and just as much space to be silent if that’s what feels right.
It’s a different kind of group work — spacious, supportive, and grounded in the natural pace of the herd.
															What Clients are Saying
“Judy Weston-Thompson has an abundance and spaciousness as the teacher, leader and guide in the journey to understand Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy. Her sensitivity and intelligence make her uniquely effective in helping students understand matters of safety and protection, nurturance, boundaries, communication, and relationship dynamics as it relates to working with a mighty horse.
And it must be said that her co-therapists Caesar, Calysta and Star partner seamlessly, providing countless metaphors and projective material to explore and assess with Judy’s guidance. Every session has given opportunity to witness and embrace how this work allows clients to connect the horse’s experiences to their own, and convey their feelings and issues in a way that is both dynamic and less daunting than might occur in traditional talk therapy.”
